Secrets of Digital Affiliate Marketing: Your 9-5 Job Just Doesn’t Cut It Anymore
Have you ever looked into digital affiliate marketing? As the cost of living keeps rising, in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, many of us have come to realize that the traditional 9-5 job no longer brings the same sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that it once did. As someone who has moved up the chain from being a worker to executive management, this is not always the answer. Moving up the corporate ladders means more responsibilities and endless unpaid hours committed to work. It used to work for me, but now that I have kids it is no longer sustainable.

I recently came across a book that has really put another perspective on how we go about making money. “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki; this has really changed the way I think about my day-to-day job. It presents contrasting perspectives of two father figures on money, work, and wealth-building. The author’s biological father, “Poor Dad,” follows the conventional path of working a 9-5 job, relying on job security, and avoiding financial risks. In contrast, his best friend’s father, “Rich Dad,” is an entrepreneur and investor who emphasizes financial education, investing, and creating multiple income streams.
After reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” I was deeply impacted and inspired to re-evaluate my own approach to money and my 9-5 job. It has made me realize that financial freedom and success are not solely dependent on earning a steady pay check but rather on acquiring assets that generate passive income. After following an influencer, Stephy Chen, I have decided to enrol myself into the Legendary Marketer – Business Builder Challenge (only $7). I am a bit sceptical of courses in general, but I figured this was only $7. This course runs over 15 days and provides education on how to launch a digital marketing business. I am currently on Day 4.

Day 3 looked at Let’s Build a Business in Under 30 Minutes
Day 4 looked at How to Master the Inner Game of Wealth
A Business Advisor from the company reached out to me to set up a meeting after Day 3. This meeting must take place before Day 4 is unlocked. This was mainly a meet and greet but provided me with the opportunity to ask any questions. I spoke about myself and where I wanted to be and what I wanted out of the program!
So far, the course is going well and is easy to follow. I believe the key here is that it isn’t hard to build a sales funnel to point to a product to convert your customers, but rather the product that you choose to promote. I am not one to promote something I do not like, as I believe this highly reflects the person I am. I much prefer to be loyal, transparent, and only promote products that I like and be up front about it! I have investigated many affiliate programs so far in my research and there’s a range of products that can be sold. Some with a large commission but has a lower chance of conversion.
Alongside with this, I am currently looking into building a sales funnel through Click Funnels which was suggested by the training and setting up an account with AWeber which is an email marketing program. So, I’ll report more on that next time!
